You will likely need to increase tRFC by 20-50 cycles.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.corsair.com\/retailer\/product_results.aspx?rid=13251&amp;id=6109689\" target=\"_blank\">Supported Corsair Memory List<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Corsair 4GB <a href=\"http:\/\/ca.pcpartpicker.com\/part\/corsair-memory-cmv4gx3m1a1333c9\" target=\"_blank\">CMV4GX3M1A1333C9<\/a> &#8212; $40<\/p>\n<p>Corsair 8GB <a href=\"http:\/\/ca.pcpartpicker.com\/part\/corsair-memory-cmv8gx3m1a1333c9\" target=\"_blank\">CMV8GX3M1A1333C9<\/a> &#8212; $75<\/p>\n<p>Kingston 24GB <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.ca\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231313\" target=\"_blank\">F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL<\/a> worked on an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xtremesystems.org\/forums\/showthread.php?249146-Overclocking-an-i7-920-with-24GB-RAM-on-an-MSI-Pro-E\" target=\"_blank\">overclocked<\/a> i7-920<\/p>\n<p>Kingston 4GB KHX1600C9D3LK2\/4GX works at <a href=\"http:\/\/fesansom.blogspot.ca\/2012\/03\/how-i-fixed-my-ga-x58a-ud3r-motherboard.html\" target=\"_blank\">1066MHz<\/a> but is no longer <a href=\"http:\/\/ca.pcpartpicker.com\/part\/kingston-memory-khx1600c9d3lk24gx?history_days=730\" target=\"_blank\">readily available<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FreeNAS compatible Networking gear<\/p>\n<p>1GB &#8211; HP NC380T<\/p>\n<p>10GB<\/p>\n<p>Chelsio S320E-SR-XFP can sometimes be found for less than $100 on eBay. The Chelsio T3, T4 and T5 ASICs are fully supported by the current version of FreeNAS.<\/p>\n<h4>SAS \/ SATA<\/h4>\n<p>The <a class=\"externalLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redbooks.ibm.com\/abstracts\/tips0740.html\" target=\"_blank\">IBM ServeRAID M1015<\/a>, <a class=\"internalLink\" href=\"http:\/\/forums.freenas.org\/showthread.php?11901-Confused-about-that-LSI-card-Join-the-crowd\">crossflashed to IT mode<\/a>, is probably one of the best choices available if you need a bunch of extra SATA\/SAS ports. It does take an extra ~12 watts however. Don&#8217;t buy it new. They&#8217;re available <a class=\"externalLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ebay.com\/sch\/i.html?_nkw=ServeRAID+M1015+-key\" target=\"_blank\">cheap on eBay<\/a> all the time.<\/p>\n<p><b>Intel X520 and X540<\/b> are supported via the ixgbe driver. Check the country, datecode, and MAC address Yottamark gives you, don&#8217;t just blindly trust it.
