Knowledge<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=2711451\" target=\"_blank\">Odin<\/a> is the most low-level tool available to push firmware \/ radios (for Samsung).\u00a0 Team Win&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twrp.me\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">TWRP<\/a> has surpassed Clockworkmod as the recommended tool for recovery.\u00a0 Google&#8217;s apps (GAPPS) are closely tied to the ROM you&#8217;re running, and are available in many different packages from <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/android\/software\/tk-gapps-t3116347\" target=\"_blank\">TK GApps<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/fitsnugly.euroskank.com\/?rom=banks&amp;device=gapps\" target=\"_blank\">BaNkS GApps<\/a>.\u00a0 Phones with less internal memory have to opt for smaller packages, or use a larger one with an exclusion .txt file.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830D (Cooper)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Was able to root and unlock without much difficulty.\u00a0 CM11.0 is available but CM10.2 is said to run better, with a solid KitKat 4.4.4 release.\u00a0 Ended up bricking it by flashing the wrong firmware.\u00a0 An important lesson in patience.<\/p>\n<p><a
